CURTIS CONGO (Transitional Pastor)
Frank helps new people find a home at Bethany and looks for ways to encourage folk to learn, grow, discover their gifts and use them. Before entering ministry, Frank had previous careers in retail sales and heavy equipment operation. He is married to Cheryl, a family counselor, and together they have 2 sweet daughters (Zoe and Benita). They love people and enjoy the outdoors.

Brad grew up in Edmonton and although he still cheers for the Oilers he has come to call B.C. home. Brad started serving at Bethany in 2004 and married Colleen in 2005. They enjoy movies, the Settlers of Catan and spending time with friends and family.

Richard and Inge have been part of Bethany's German ministry since 1991. They have three married children and three precious grandchildren in the area. Together they have served for over 40 years in pastoral ministry in Edmonton, Kelowna, Vancouver and Richmond.

KATHY HOLMES (Co-Director
of Children’s Ministry)
Kathy has been working in Children’s Ministries as a volunteer for
most of her life, and has been officially on staff at Bethany since 2005.
Kathy trained as a teacher at UBC and SFU, and taught Grade 7 until she
had kids of her own. She loves to see kids come to faith and to learn to
use the gifts and talents that God has given them! Kathy and her husband,
Dan, have three kids – Ethan, Meghan and Max.

Christine fills two staff positions at Bethany: she is the church Treasurer as well as Co-Director of Children’s Ministries with her sister, Kathy. Trained as a Chartered Accountant, Christine has spent many years as a volunteer in Children’s Ministries, working in a leadership capacity with all ages of children. She brings a unique set of skills and experiences to our staff. She loves God and has a passion for children, and has four of her own: Mitchell, Connor, Emily, and Ryan.

ERICK STRELAU (Building Administrator)
Erick has been part of Bethany since he was born. He and his wife Gwen have
four children and six grandchildren. Gwen enjoys video photography and various
handcrafts, while Erick (now retired) enjoys sports, computing, reading
and travel.

Sharon lives in Richmond with her husband Glenn. They have three children, two living in the Lower Mainland and one living in Oklahoma. Her hobbies are reading and computer games.
