PRAYER

Prayer is central to our life as a church. Jesus told us that apart from him we can do nothing – prayer is the context in which we acknowledge that reality and ask the Lord himself to be at work. It’s our life-line. It’s our great opportunity.

At Bethany there are many contexts for prayer including Sunday mornings (opportunity for personal prayer following each service) and in Small Groups (link).

Here are 2 other specific opportunities:

Bethany @ Prayer

The evening service on the first Sunday of each month (6:30 pm) is set aside exclusively for worship and prayer. We pray into the life and ministries of Bethany and we look for God to meet us as we pray. We pray in different ways, different times, giving people freedom to pray out loud or quietly by themselves. Exciting to pray – exciting to watch for God to work.

Prayer Chain

Are there issues of life weighing on you for which you’d like prayer? Family-related? Work-related? Issues of health or finances or relationship?

There’s a Prayer Chain in place at Bethany that’s ready to be activated. Simply contact us with your prayer request and a whole team of prayers will be praying for you shortly.
