SMALL GROUPS

At Bethany, the place to really connect with the life of the church is in one of the many Small Groups that meet each week. Small Groups (ranging in size from 4- 20), meet at many different times and in many different parts of the Lower Mainland. Some meet before work, some mid-day, some in the evening. Some are for women or men only, some are age-specific, and some include a full range of diversity.

But each of the groups provides a setting for people to know one another well, to care for each other through the ups and downs of life, to pray together, to study God’s word, and to urge one another on in following Jesus Christ more closely in the reality of daily life.

Many of the groups make use of a Bible Study Guide written by Bethany members which is tied into the Sunday Morning schedule of preaching. Other groups use different materials for their studies. But each is seeking to grow in understanding God’s word while at the same time caring for one another.
